FSA's Game Night Date: Friday, February 18th Time: 5:30pm-8:30pm Location:BYC come out for a night of chillaxin with FSA, as we play some board games, as well as consoles just a good way to spend a friday night. if you have a favorite game, bring it! or ask in case we may have it already it'll be a good time, and maybe a frew surprises? FSA's Adobo Fundraiser Superbowl Edition Date: Sunday, February 7th Time: 6:30pm-9:30pm Location:Riverwinds Clubhouse Man o man o man o man o man! adobo por you! come out to riverwinds clubhouse (north on alafaya a little past mcCulluh on your right) for a feast and football! we'll be hosting our adobo fundraiser, where we prepare a plate of delicious filipino food for a mere $5, which goes to FSA (and in return goes to you!) adobo> footlong sub adobo> 5 5-layer cheesy burritos adobo> 5 mcdoubles adobo> wackadoo's chicken quesadilla's you get the picture. come hang out as we will watch the SuperBowl game too! this is a crucial fundraiser in order to bring you the best of what FSA has to offer, so please support your FAMILY. FSA/KSA Kuya/Ate/H.O.U.N.D. Picnic Date: Saturday, February 6th Time: 10:30am-2:00pm Location:Blue Jacket Park Hello KSA and FSA! come out and picnic with us at blue jacket park, and spend quality time with your Kuya/Ate/Ading or H.O.U.N.D, or just hang out with other FSA and KSA members! we'll have some cool stuff to do, what you normally do at a picnic at a park, and will be providing bagged lunch if you're hungry. even though we will be providing bagged lunches, Kuyas/Ates, Oppas/Nunnas/Hyungs/Unni's bring your Adings/Dongseungs some special "bagged lunch". make your littles happy!! so save the date, talk to your big/little brothers/sisters and come! it'll be a lot of fun!!!! FSA's Pie in your Face Meeting Date: Tuesday, January 26th Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm Location:BYC Hey everyone!! Tonight is the night that you'll get the chance to pie someone in the face! Here's how this will work: You will be able to bid on someone to be pie'd in the face, whether it's an officer, your best friend, or someone you can't stand looking at and have been wanting to Dwight Howard a PIE right onto their face for 56 days 3 hours 35 minutes and 8 seconds now! What you need to do is bring a little extra cash and bid on someone, or if YOU get bid on you get pie'd in the face! DON'T let that happen! If you are able to double that amount bid on you, YOU end up pie-ing the BIDDER! --- Other News: Don't forget to get your groups together for the Camping Trip this weekend! Whatever happens in the woods, stays in the woods! Also, look out for our Annual Kuya/Ate/Ading/Hound Picnic. This is the day to spend with your FAMBAM and friends outside in the beautiful Florida weather! Also, we will still be collecting old sweaters that you want anymore and are in good condition for Homeless FREEZING children! So please, PLEASE help us out with this! This year FSA is holding its annual Thanksgiving Potluck in the Riverwinds Clubhouse. There will be food, food and more food. Meeting Featuring Fresh Off The Beat Date: Tuesday, November 10th Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm Location:Barbara Ying Center Hello everyone! we'll be having yet another meeting on tuesday! come out for our short and sweet meeting, so that there will be enough time to head out to the comedy night for homecoming, like a family we will have some cool stuff to show you, so you don't want to miss. plus it will be a good place to meet before heading out to the comedy night. Open Mic Night Date: Saturday, November 21st Time: 7:00pm-10:00pm Location:Communications Building Rm 101 - UCF Campus A night to be filled with similes and metaphors, vocal notes to reach the high and low ends of the scale, sounds created through the vibrations of steel strings, jokes to cause extreme laughter, and MORE! So please, make plans accordingly. Put your books away from a stressful test filled week and be prepared to be relaxed and entertained by the various talent of the UCF and Orlando community! Each performer is given no longer than 15 minutes on stage, unless it is a performance that requires a longer duration. SoReal Unlimited's Hot Love Culture Movement Date: Friday, November 20th Time: 12:00pm-9:00pm Location:Unviversity of Central Florida Student Union Key West Ballroom Inspired by SoReal Unlimited, Inc. and in association with the University of Central Florida Filipino Student Association, the Hot Love Culture Movement is a celebration of passion - passion for art, music, poetry and anything else that promotes the notion of "Love By Any Means Necessary." Our lives are full of too many negative influences. Sometimes we need a few positive ones that can make us smile. This event will highlight the exhibition/sale of unique and inspiring creative art projects presented by PerceptionSRUs - SoReal Unlimited's team of interns. Each team member turned their imaginations into reality as you will be able to share in and take home one of a kind art pieces, musical compositions, photography and printed poetry. In addition to the kaleidoscopic creative art pieces, we will be entertained and serenaded by some of the PerceptionSRUs team members, the one and only Fresh Off The Beat hip hop dance crew, musical recording artists Ron Irizarry and Rubox Cube and be graced by a beautiful cultural dance performance by the University of Central Florida Filipino Student Association's Cultural Dance Troupe. Also in attendance, will be other businesses that have joined the Hot Love Culture Movement including Lollicup, Reign Boutique, Bluemotion Videography, Locations Real Estate & Development, Sweet Bouquet by Sweet Street and FBL Orlando just to name a few.
