APAC Assembly -
We would like to cordially invite you all to APA Assembly! This is where you'll meet the new officers and see what they have worked hard together to fill the year with exciting events, workshops, and more! Feel free to invite all of your friends, as we strive to educate ourselves and others of our rich Filipino heritage, traditions, and culture. Everybody is invited! This will also be great opportunity to see friends you haven't seen all summer and of course, to meet new ones.
Adobo Fundraiser -
Come through, enjoy some good homecooking, watch the game, and support FSA! If you would like to help us out, please contact us by email. If you would like to donate chicken or pork adobo, rice, utensils, or drinks, again please contact us. Any degree of help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much.
Car/Track Show -
Interested in cars? Have a car you want to show off? Come to our first ever car meet/track show and meet like-minded drivers and car owners. Contact us if you would like to be participate in this event.
Kuya/Ate/Ading Events -
This event is a way to connect and bond with your Kuya and Ate. So if you're an Ading and your low on cash, no worries, your Kuya & Ate have you covered!
Film Fest -
Want to make a film and submit it for competition? Or just enjoy a night of flims? Come out for a night of awesome films made by your fellow friends! Just keep a look out for the registration date!
Open Mic Night -
A night to be filled with similes and metaphors, vocal notes to reach the high and low ends of the scale, sounds created through the vibrations of steel strings, jokes to cause extreme laughter, and MORE! So please, make plans accordingly. Put your books away from a stressful test filled week and be prepared to be relaxed and entertained by the various talent of the UCF and Orlando community! If you would like to perform, please contact us through email. Please add what you would like to perform, as well as your full name and contact information. Each performer is given no longer than 15 minutes on stage, unless it is a performance that requires a longer duration. So again, calling all spoken word and poetry artists, emcees, singers, and instrument players, come through and step up to the mic or just enjoy the talent! We hope to see you there!
Camping Trip -
This event is open to everybody: Old school FSA, New school FSA, Alumni, all the other organizations- ASA, VASA, CASA, KSA, PDPsi, DPhiL, and etc. This event will be one crazy weekend, but will only happen, if you all can find your groups of 8 early. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. Remember to keep a look out for the deadline, so you don't miss out! And "what happens in the woods, stays in the woods..."
Game Night -
For all you gamers out there, this is a time for you to come out and play games that will be available for your pleasure. XBOX, Wii, PS2, etc. For all you XBox 360 gamers out there, if you're gonna want to play please bring your own 360 with an ethernet cord or a wireless adaptor. Also if you have a portable TV or monitor that you can bring that would be awesome too. I know you guys have them so please bring them if you want to play. The more the merrier. Also for all you non-gamers, we will be showing a movie, so if you want to just come and hang out.
Kuya/Ate/Ading H.O.U.N.D. Picnic -
KSA & FSA Families, bring your Dongseng's, Ading's and picnic blankets out to Blue Jacket Park! Small brown bag snack packs will be provided, but it is suggested that you bring your own family meal. We'll bring out footballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, & board games! So come out for some KSA & FSA fun!
Field Day -
It's that time of the year, where the competitive tiger in you comes out and competes with your team for the glorious prize of FSA's Field Day CHAMP! Keep a look out for the deadline to sign up at the FSA genearl meeting. Your team has a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 people. Everybody and anybody is welcome to form a team! Contact our IM Sports Coordinator for more details.
Sayaw Culture Show -
This is our main event of the year! Within the months of preparation, our members have encompassed their talents to bring to you a product of eclectric performances that have been danced traditionally in the Philippines. Your presence this evening is greatly appreciated, as we hope to make it an enjoyable experience. You are encouraged to come out to this fantastic event full of Filipino culture. Between Dance Troupe's performances, singers, videos, and other guest performances, this is definitely one event you don't want to miss!
End of the Year FSA Formal -
Ladies and Gentlemen, you are cordially invited to the Filipino Student Association's End of the Year Formal. Come for a night of food, music, and memories, as we have a line of special performances, speakers, videos, and so much more! We also commemorate the past year, along with new graduates, new officers, and superlatives. Join us for one more night to remember, one more night with friends, and one more night with FSA.
